There’s something about Mary

Throughout Mary’s decade plus long triathlon career she’s set several amateur course records, raced in elite categories, secured overall wins at almost every distance, qualified for the Hawaii Ironman three times  and has enjoyed the honor of being named a USAT All American several times. Because of her longtime involvement in the sport, her solid reputation as a triathlete, coach and human being, Mary is a positive ambassador for several companies that have lent their support to her as an athlete. Read about some of her accomplishments here as well. Not only is Mary an accomplished triathlete, she founded  Train-This Multisport Coaching. Mary has coached over 100 athletes to Ironman finishes (100% finisher’s rate) and had worked with athletes of all abilities. In 2011 Mary sold Train-this to join the select and elite group of coaches at QT2 Systems. If that weren’t enough…. Mary is also one of Westen New York’s most inspiring Yoga Teachers. Teaching Baptiste Power Vinyasa yoga, Mary can be found at Breathe Yoga in Pittsford NY where she also developed the Yoga for Athletes program used with the Rochester Rhinos and several local sports teams.

Mary is the series announcer for the Score This !! Multisport series,  is a contributing writer for XTri and TriDigest, and is the editor in chief for www.pat-wheeler.com

Married to one of Western New York’s top male triathletes Curt Eggers, this dynamic duo is not only active in the multisport community, but passionate about programs such as Lose the Training Wheels, which helps children with special needs learn to ride two wheel bikes. 1. Mary,
I just wanted to say, you commenting on my I AM OK post meant a lot to me. More than you can imagine. I stalk your blog daily, and admire you as a triathlete and trainer, but even more so as a person and a mom. Thank you so much!
